It’s full steam ahead for the rest of the year here at the Kangaroo HQ! For the last few months, we’ve been busy working on our most exciting product launch this October. Think of something sleek, small, and definitely something you’ll want in every corner of your home (indoor and outdoor). 👀 Watch out for an exclusive pre-sale this September and get ready for security that blends in with your home and fits your budget (pssst ours will be under $40, so you can keep eyes on everything you want to protect).
This month, we’re also capping off our very first (but certainly not the last) Pouch of Prizes giveaway series. Whether you won that gift card, shared your favorite emoji, or even just tagged your friends, we’re grateful for each and every one of you who joined! Ending the series with a bang, we’re giving away a full expense-paid trip to #SANDIEGO so that YOU can meet a real life kangaroo at the San Diego Zoo. 🦘More details on our Instagram page here. In other exciting news, we’ve finally landed in Australia! It’s always been our goal to provide security for all — no matter where in the world you are. So Aussies, we’re here to save you heaps from parcel pinchers and more! Call it a Kangaroo homecoming if you will. 🇦🇺 Read all about our launch and where you can find us in Australia here.
And lastly, with so many hit by Hurricane Ida last week, we want to send our thoughts to those impacted and we want to help out any way we can. We encourage those customers who need our support or assistance to please reach out and we’ll do what we can on our end to continue our promise of protection.
SEE THE CLAIMS MADE THIS MONTH
Our kits and cameras do the detecting, but our plans provide total protection. All include coverage for theft, damage, and increasingly ... porch pirates. Plus, porch pirate season is quickly approaching. Holiday deliveries landing on porches across the country will be prime for the taking, but our Porch Protection Plans are what help you get the payback you deserve when porch pirates strike. This month, our users filed claims for everything — from a dog ortho bed to gaming monitors!
This is how it goes: when you have something stolen from your porch, just file a claim in the Kangaroo app and we’ll reimburse you (we’ve currently honored 95% of the claims). Takes less than 5 minutes!
This month’s most commonly stolen goods were gadgets, including a computer, camera, and earbuds. And the average cost of damage and stolen goods was $302!
